Art, Resilience, and a 10-Mile Trek: Supporting Lisa & Rich’s "Walk of Light"
There is something incredibly moving about watching a friend turn a personal battle into a force for good. My friend Lisa, a gifted soft pastel artist, recently captured a moment that stayed with her: the sun breaking through the tree canopy behind her gym. It was one of those quiet, powerful summer mornings that felt steady and full of promise.
She translated that feeling into a stunning new piece titled Hope. But for Lisa and her husband, Rich, "hope" isn't just a theme for a painting—it’s a daily practice.

Walking for Rich
Some may know that Lisa’s Husband (who is just bloomin’ fabulous) Rich is currently living with blood cancer. It’s a journey that requires immense strength, and it’s the reason why Lisa and Rich are so passionate about supporting Blood Cancer UK.
This Saturday, March 28th, they are taking on their second "Walk of Light" fundraiser. After the success of last year’s event, they’re back at it—braving the elements to raise vital funds for research and support.

A Prize for a Purpose
To mark their second year and encourage as much support as possible, We have teamed up with our friends Lisa nd Rich and custom framed Lisa’s pastel artwork “ Hope”. And now they are giving it away!
One lucky supporter will win this original piece. Every person who donates at least £10 to their page will be entered into the draw to own this beautiful reminder of light breaking through the dark.
10 Miles, Much Mud, and a Win
Lisa hasn’t just been busy at the easel; she’s been putting in the literal legwork. She’s been out wiht Rich scouting the 10-mile route for this weekend, and let’s just say it hasn’t been all easy paths:
The Terrain: There was a lot of mud involved in the practice runs!
The Logistics: The route is now officially sussed, and more importantly, the lunch stop is sorted.
The Recovery: After 10 miles in the mud, she’s definitely earned her soak in a hot bath!
